Bonjour Bear Free Pattern
26 May, 2007According to teddybearsearch.com,
In France, we have an expression when something is easy to do. We say “simple as Bonjour” (easy as pie !).
So, “Bonjour” is the name of this 8.5 inches teddy bear who is really easy to make with our free teddy bear pattern.
French bear artist Laurence Veron of website www.alentours.com created this pattern especially for the beginners.
Cashmere Bunnies
10 May, 2007Betz White recently gave one of these cashmere bunnies away. Alas, I was not the winner. I still love her, though!
She finds cashmere sweaters at thrift stores to use as fabric.
stuff I really want to learn
21 March, 2007I’ve been quilting for a few years, but have never sewn until very recently. Now I have a few bags and pillows under my belt, and I want to learn to do a few more things:
- make lounge pants (I’m especially keen on the wide-leg lounge pants in Amy Butler’s In Stitches. I was eaten alive by mosquitoes last year, and want to keep my legs completely covered in lightweight lounge pants this summer.)
- make skirts
- insert a zipper
- make buttonholes
- make plush toys
